Projects
Phu Do Wastewater Collection and Treatment System
The project involves the construction of a wastewater collection system and Phu Do Wastewater Treatment Plant in the S3 drainage basin (2,485 ha), with a treatment capacity of 84,000 m³/day. The project is implemented under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Build-Lease-Transfer (BLT) model, scheduled for 2024–2028. This project represents a major leap in urban wastewater management planning for Hanoi, contributing to the creation of a green symbol for a modern living environment.

Design & Layout

The Phu Do Wastewater Treatment Plant is designed following the concept of “Urban Green Purification”, integrating modern engineering technology with environmental landscape design. The treatment facility is centrally located on a site of approximately 2.5 ha, with pumping stations and a network of D300–D1500mm pipes extending roughly 18 km across the S3 drainage basin. The layout ensures rational allocation among the biological treatment area, collection system, pumping stations, separation wells, manholes, and green spaces. Beyond treatment efficiency, the design emphasizes operational flow, ease of maintenance, and harmony with the surrounding urban environment.
